NaradSandesh।।सीकर 26 सितंबर। स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से जे.सी. बोस विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, वाईएमसीए, फरीदाबाद में आज एक दिवसीय स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। यह ज्ञानवर्धक कार्यक्रम विश्वविद्यालय के गणित विभाग द्वारा रोटरी क्लब फरीदाबाद ‘ट्यूलिप’ के सहयोग से किया गया।
स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता शिविर का उद्देश्य स्वास्थ्य संबंधी विषयों पर ज्ञान प्रदान करना, जागरूकता बढ़ाना और प्रतिभागियों के बीच समुदाय की भावना को बढ़ावा देना था। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत सरस्वती वंदना के साथ हुई। इसके उपरांत डीन साइंसेज तथा गणित विभाग की अध्यक्ष प्रो. नीतू गुप्ता ने सभी चिकित्सा विशेषज्ञों और मुख्य अतिथियों को पौधा भेंट कर स्वागत किया। प्रो. नीतू गुप्ता ने अपने संबोधन में स्वास्थ्य के महत्व पर बल दिया।
मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित रही सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता और लेखिका श्रीमती जयमाला तोमर ने कोविड-19 महामारी की चुनौतियों को दर्शाती ‘वुहान परिंदा’ नामक एक मार्मिक कविता प्रस्तुत की।
कार्यक्रम में स्वास्थ्य संबंधी सूचनात्मक सत्र प्रस्तुत किए गए, जिसमें त्वचा विशेषज्ञ एवं कॉस्मेटोलॉजिस्ट डॉ. चेतना घुरा द्वारा युवा वयस्कों में त्वचा की देखभाल, क्लिनिकल न्यूट्रिशनिस्ट एवं डायबिटीज एजुकेटर डॉ. तमन्ना मल्होत्रा द्वारा यू एंड योर हार्मोन्स, और प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. सबिता कुमारी द्वारा स्तन कैंसर पर जागरूकता को लेकर व्याख्यान दिये गये।
एक दिवसीय स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता शिविर का समापन रोटरी क्लब फरीदाबाद की अध्यक्ष डॉ. करुणा पाल के प्रेरक व्याख्यान से हुआ, जिसमें उन्होंने स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता के महत्व पर बल दिया। आरसीएफ ट्यूलिप की सचिव पूनम चैधरी, सदस्यों डॉ. रुचिका, बबीता गोयल और सुनीता विज ने भी कार्यक्रम को संबोधित किया।
कार्यक्रम की समन्वयक डॉ. रीना गर्ग ने शिविर की सफलता पर सभी प्रतिभागियों, आयोजकों और उपस्थित लोगों को हार्दिक धन्यवाद दिया। इस अवसर पर विश्वविद्यालय की महिला स्टाफ सदस्यों के लिए एक निःशुल्क मैमोग्राफी परीक्षण का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें निवारक स्वास्थ्य देखभाल के महत्व पर बल दिया गया।
One-Day Health Awareness Camp at JC Bose University
Faridabad, 26 September – A One-Day Health Awareness Camp, held at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, marked a significant endeavor in promoting health education and community engagement. This insightful event was organized by the Department of Mathematics at JC Bose University, in collaboration with Rotary Club Faridabad TULIPS.
The primary aim of the Health Awareness Camp was to impart valuable knowledge on health-related topics, raise awareness, and foster a sense of community among participants. The event featured a well-structured program with several noteworthy highlights:
The day commenced with a Saraswati Vandana, followed by a captivating cultural dance performance by a student, celebrating the vibrant local culture. Prof. Neetu Gupta, Dean Sciences and Chairperson of the Department of Mathematics, honored all doctors and chief guests with plant saplings, symbolizing growth, renewal, and the nurturing of knowledge and health. Prof. Gupta emphasized the importance of health and well-being in her introductory remarks.
The Chief Guest, Ms. Jaimala Tomar, a well known Social Worker and Writer, presented a poignant poem titled “Wuhan Parinda,” reflecting on the challenges and resilience displayed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event featured informative sessions “Skin Care in Young Adults” by Dr. Chetna Ghura, Dermatologist and Cosmetologist, “You and Your Hormones” by Dr. Tamanna Malhotra, Clinical Nutritionist and Diabetes Educator, “Awareness in Breast Cancer” by Dr. Sabita Kumari, Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
The One-Day Health Awareness Camp concluded with an inspiring talk by Dr. Karuna Paal, President of Rotary Club Faridabad, who emphasized the significance of health awareness with the powerful message: “Jaan hai to Jahan hai” (Life is everything), “Prevention is better than cure,” and “We are what we think.”
Poonam Chaudhary, the Secretary of RCF TULIPS, along with members Dr. Ruchika, Babita Goel, and Sunita Vij, graced the event with their presence, enriching the discussions and interactions.
Dr. Reena Garg, the Coordinator of the event, extended her heartfelt thanks to all participants, organizers, and attendees who contributed to the success of the One-Day Health Awareness Camp. Special appreciation was extended to the Department of Mathematics and Rotary Club Faridabad TULIPS for their collaborative efforts in making this educational initiative possible.
As a part of this initiative, a free Mammography test was organized for all the female staff members of the University, further emphasizing the importance of preventive healthcare.
