NaradSandesh।। फरीदाबाद 15 सितंबर। जे. सी. बोस विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, वाईएमसीए, फरीदाबाद के संचार एवं मीडिया प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग द्वारा पत्रकारिता एवं जनसंचार, विजुअल कम्युनिकेशन एंड मल्टीमीडिया एवं सोशल वर्क के विद्यार्थियों के लिए आयोजित दो सप्ताह के इंडक्शन प्रोग्राम का आज समापन हो गया।
कार्यक्रम की जानकारी देते हुए संचार एवं मीडिया प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. पवन सिंह ने बताया कि इंडक्शन प्रोग्राम के समापन सत्र में धारावाहिक महाभारत में युधिष्ठिर की भूमिका निभाने वाले श्री गजेन्द्र चौहान जोकि पंडित लखमीचंद स्टेट यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ परफार्मिंग एंड विसुअल आर्ट्स, रोहतक के कुलपति है, मुख्य वक्ता रहे। सत्र में प्रसिद्ध शिक्षाविद् और विचारक श्री सीताराम व्यास विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे तथा सत्र की अध्यक्षता विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो. सुशील कुमार तोमर ने की।
अपने अध्यक्षीय भाषण में प्रो. एस.के. तोमर ने जीवन में सीखने के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। महाभारत की कहानियों को गणितीय कार्यों के साथ जोड़ते हुए उन्होंने परंपराओं और प्रौद्योगिकी को एक साथ लेकर चलने की अवधारणा के बारे में बात की। उन्होंने छात्रों से कहा कि वे हमेशा सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण रखें और जीवन में सीखने का कोई मौका न छोड़े।
विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते गजेंद्र चौहान विद्यार्थियों के साथ अपने अनुभव साझा किये। उन्होंने कहा कि किसी पात्र को जीना एक कलाकार की सफलता की झलक है। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से कहा कि जीवन में जो भी कार्य करें उसे जूनून तथा ईमानदारी से करें, सफलता अवश्य मिलेगी। श्री चौहान ने महाभारत के कई संवाद भी सुनाए। उन्होंने लोकप्रिय धारावाहिक महाभारत के निर्माण एवं प्रसारण संबंधित रोचक अनुभव भी साझा किये। सत्र के अंत में उन्होंने पत्रकारिता के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा पूछे गए प्रश्न के उत्तर दिए।
प्रसिद्ध शिक्षाविद और विचारक श्री सीताराम व्यास ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि विद्यार्थी मन, वचन एवं कर्म को एक दिशा में लगायें। माता-पिता एवं गुरु द्वारा दी गई शिक्षा एवं संस्कार को ईमानदारी से आत्मसात करें। इससे पहले फैकल्टी ऑफ लिबरल आर्ट्स एंड मीडिया स्टडीज की डीन प्रो पूनम सिंघल ने मुख्य अतिथियों का स्वागत किया तथा इंडक्शन प्रोग्राम की गतिविधियों का परिचय दिया। संचार एवं मीडिया तकनीकी विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ पवन सिंह ने अतिथियों का आभार व्यक्त किया।

Faridabad, 15 September, 2023. The 12-day long Induction Program 2023 organized by the Department of Communication and Media Technology of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad concluded on Friday, September 15, 2023..
Taking the traditional heritage of the University forward, the event commenced with the lamp lighting by the dignitaries followed by the kulgeet of the university. Sh. Gajendra Chauhan, the Vice Chancellor of PLC SUPVA, Rohtak was chief guest in the valedictory session whereas Sh. Sitaram Vyas, renowned academician and thinker, was guest of honour. The session was presided over by Prof. S.K. Tomar, Vice Chancellor of the University. All the guests were welcomed with the saplings.
The event was then formally taken over by the Chairperson of the department, Dr. Pawan Singh who extended his warm words for all the dignitaries and welcomed them all. Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Media Studies, Prof. Poonam Singhal congratulated the department for the successful attempt at the Induction Programme. She, on the special day of ‘Engineer’s Day’ highlighted the importance of Engineering and increasing technology in today’s world.
In his presidential address, Prof. S.K. Tomar started his remarks by extending his gratitude towards the guests for taking their time out for the event. He then put the light on the importance of “Lessons in Life”. Relating the holy stories of Mahabharata with the mathematical functions; he talked about the concept of taking the Traditions and Technology together. Ending his words, he asked the students to always have a positive attitude and never miss a chance to learn in life.
The chief guest of the day, Gajendra Chauhan in his words; explained how he got the role of ‘ Yudhishthira’ in ‘Mahabharat’. He mentioned his many experiences of his life and his feeling of being called and identified with this name only by the public. He, later, in the Q&A session talked to the students and answered their questions. He told about how he was almost selected for the role of Krishna, but then the director saw truthfulness in his eyes and little naughtiness in Nitish Bharadwaj’s eyes so he played the role of ‘ Yudhishthira’. Also, he narrated the dialogues of his very famous role.
Sitaram Vyas enlightened the students with his wise words. He started his words with a few Sanskrit Sholkas marking the importance of getting the birth of a human being. He asked the students to own a personality that takes up their attitude in a positive way and benefits the country for its development. He, later, in his words guided the students to keep learning for a lifetime from life and its various experiences.
Earlier, he along with other guests joined the plantation drive in the University under ‘Hariyali Parv’.
The valedictory programme ended with the glitters and charm in its Cultural Evening which had Nidhi Jain, Regional Secretary, Women and Child Development, Bharat Vikas Parishad, North as its chief guest. In the evening, dazzling colours were witnessed by the students with most of their craze in. The evening included beautiful dance performances, melodious songs and other activities that set the aura of the evening.
