NaradSandesh।। फरीदाबाद,17नवंबर: जे.सी.बोस विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, वाईएमसीए, फरीदाबाद के संचार एवं मीडिया तकनीकी विभाग द्वारा आज रोजगार एवं प्लेसमेंट विभाग के सहयोग से मीडिया के विद्यार्थियों के रचनात्मक कार्यों को एक पोर्टफोलियो प्रदर्शनी के रूप में प्रदर्शित किया गया। इस प्रदर्शनी का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों के लिए इंटर्नशिप और प्लेसमेंट के अवसरों के लिए मीडिया उद्योग से जुड़े लोगों को आकर्षित करना था।
विश्वविद्यालय के शाकुन्तलम हॉल में आयोजित प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन अतिरिक्त जिला उपायुक्त श्री आनंद कुमार शर्मा, विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व छात्र एवं उद्यमी श्री राज कुमार भाटिया एवं कुलपति प्रोफेसर एस.के. तोमर ने दीप प्रज्वलित कर किया। इस अवसर पर छात्र कल्याण अधिष्ठाता प्रो मुनीश वशिष्ठ, ट्रेनिंग एंड प्लेसमेंट अधिकारी प्रो. राजेश कुमार आहूजा, मीडिया एवं तकनीकी विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. पवन सिंह भी मौजूद रहे। प्रदर्शनी में पहुंचे एडीसी आनंद कुमार शर्मा तथा उद्यमी राज भाटिया ने मीडिया के छात्रों द्वारा प्रस्तुत व्यावहारिक कार्यों का अवलोकन एवं मूल्यांकन किया। इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों के कार्य की मुक्त कंठ से प्रशंसा की।
एडीसी आनंद कुमार शर्मा ने विद्यार्थियों को रचनात्मकता एवं व्यवसायिक कौशल पर विशेष ध्यान देने का सुझाव दिया। उद्यमी राज भाटिया ने कहा कि बदलते परिदृश्य में मीडिया के विद्यार्थियों को कौशल विकास पर खासतौर पर ध्यान देने की आश्यकता है। इसके साथ-साथ उन्हें व्यक्तित्व में सुधार करते रहना चाहिए। कुलपति प्रो. एस.के. तोमर ने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय विद्यार्थियों को आगे बढ़ने के लिए हरसंभव सहयोग दे रहा है। विद्यार्थियों को इन अवसरों का लाभ उठाकर खुद को बेहतर बनाने के लिए प्रयास करते रहना चाहिए। प्रदर्शनी में समाज कार्य में स्नातक के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा बनाई गई मीडिया गैलरी एवं सेल्फी पॉइंट विशेष आकर्षण का केंद्र रहे।
विभिन्न कॉलेज एवं स्कूलों से 500 से अधिक विद्यार्थियों ने पोर्टफोलियो प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया, जिसमें एसओएस, स्कॉलर्स प्राइड, अशोक मेमोरियल पब्लिक स्कूल, रतन कॉन्वेंट स्कूल, गवर्नमेंट मॉडल संस्कृति सेकेंडरी स्कूल, गुरुग्राम यूनिवर्सिटी, एसजीटी यूनिवर्सिटी के छात्र-छात्राएं शामिल रहे। इस दौरान विद्यार्थियों ने विश्वविद्यालय के मीडिया एवं तकनीकी विभाग के स्टूडियो का भी भ्रमण किया। इसके अलावा प्रिंट, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक एवं सोशल मीडिया के प्रतिनिधियों ने भी प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया तथा मीडिया के छात्रों के कौशल की सराहना की एवं जरूरी सुझाव भी दिए।
मीडिया एवं तकनीकी विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ.पवन सिंह ने बताया कि पोर्टफोलियो प्रदर्शनी का उद्देश्य पत्रकारिता के विद्यार्थियों के लिए इंटर्नशिप और प्लेसमेंट के अवसर उपलब्ध कराना है। विगत तीन वर्षों से विभाग हर वर्ष इस प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन करता आ रहा है। प्रदर्शनी के संयोजक डॉ राहुल आर्य एवं डॉ तरुणा नरूला ने सभी का आभार व्यक्त किया।
Portfolio Exhibition Showcased Creative Works of Media Students
Faridabad, 17 November – The Department of Communication and Media Technology of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, in collaboration with the office of Employment and Placement, organized a portfolio exhibition. The event showcased the creative works of final-year students in media studies, encompassing both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The exhibition aimed to highlight the department’s focus on training and placement opportunities for students.
The inauguration of the exhibition saw the lighting of the lamp by esteemed guests, including Shri Anand Kumar Sharma, Additional District Deputy Commissioner of Faridabad, Shri Raj Kumar Bhatia, alumnus and well-known industrialist, and Prof. S.K. Tomar, Vice Chancellor of the University. Notable attendees included Prof. Munish Vashishth, Dean of Student Welfare, Prof. Rajesh Kumar Ahuja, Training and Placement Officer, and Dr. Pawan Singh, Chairperson of Media and Technology Department.
ADC Shri Anand Kumar Sharma and Shri Raj Bhatia assessed the exhibition and evaluated the practical work presented by the media students. In his speech, Shri Sharma praised the students’ work and appreciated the department’s initiative.
During the exhibition, ADC Shri Sharma emphasized the importance of skills and creativity in the ever-evolving Media Industry, urging students to focus on honing these qualities. Shri Raj Bhatia echoed this sentiment, highlighting the need for media students to stay updated and continuously improve their abilities in response to the changing landscape. Also, he encouraged students to invest in personal development, recognizing the significance of a well-rounded personality.
Addressing the gathering, Vice Chancellor Prof. S.K. Tomar assured students of the university’s unwavering support and commitment to their progress. He urged them to seize the numerous opportunities provided by the university and strive for self-improvement continually.
The exhibition featured a media gallery and selfie point ingeniously created by the Bachelor of Social Work students. These captivating attractions became the focal point of attention, drawing significant interest from visitors. More than 500 students from various colleges and schools visited the portfolio exhibition, which included students from SOS, Scholars Pride, Ashoka Memorial Public School, Ratan Convent School, Government Model Sanskriti Secondary School, Gurugram University, SGT University. During this, the students also visited the studio of the Media and Technology Department of the University. Apart from this, representatives of print, electronic and social media also visited the exhibition and appreciated the skills of the media students and also gave necessary suggestions.
Dr. Pawan Singh, Chairman of the Department of Media and Technology, said that the objective of the portfolio exhibition is to provide internship and placement opportunities to journalism students. The department has been organizing this exhibition every year for the last three years. Organizers of the exhibition, Dr. Rahul Arya and Dr. Taruna Narula expressed their gratitude to everyone.
